Green building and sustainable living have their own language, their own vernacular. While many developing technologies have the potential to greatly improve the durability, energy efficiency, and affordability of our homes and the healthiness of lives, these concepts must first be translated from technical jargon to more usable and recognizable terms.

Because I believe in the need to transfer this knowledge out of the laboratory and into the minds of people who can use it, I write articles, blogs, and essays about sustainable practices in the topic areas of new home construction, remodeling, and do-it-yourself home projects.
